Kaninungar lockade ett stort antal besökare till Ängby park i Knivsta under nationaldagen.
Det var Uppsala Läns Kaninavelsförening som återinvigde utställningen ”Hona med kull” efter några års uppehåll. 171 burar fanns på plats för att visa upp kaninhonor med sina kullar i alla möjliga raser.
-Det är en gammal tradition som vi vill återuppta i år och kommer att fortsätta med. Vi anordnar den här utställningen för att ge allmänheten en möjlighet att få se kaninungar och samtidigt visa upp oss och vad vi gör. Vi vill också öka förståelsen att det här är levande djur och att man kan ha roligt med kaniner, på deras villkor, säger Mette Andersson, kommissarie och ansvarig för utställningen.

Kaniner i alla storlekar; Belgisk Jätte, Fransk Vädur, Dvärgvädurar och Hermeliner lät sig tålmodigt beskådas och beundras.
De största raserna verkade dock tycka att burarna var i minsta laget.
Kaninen i klapphörnan var mycket populär bland barnen och verkade inte ha något emot uppmärksamheten.
Förutom att beskåda alla kaniner kunde man få sin kanin bedömd av ett proffs och träffa uppfödare samt köpa en raskanin och tillbehör.
